Brittany Keegan

Director of Research Promotion and Engagement

Brittany is the Director of Research Promotion and Engagement and an Assistant Professor within the Wilder School. Her research focuses primarily on effective methods of supporting those impacted by violence or conflict, including refugees and those who have experienced gender-based violence. In addition, she teaches in the Wilder School's public administration and nonprofit management certificate programs, works on the Wilder School Commonwealth Poll, and conducts qualitative research and data analysis for a variety of state and local government agencies and nonprofit organizations. Prior to her academic work, Keegan served in the marketing departments of Richmond Ballet and Quill Theatre; she has also served as a board member for multiple nonprofits in the Central Virginia area and was named one of Style Weekly's Top 40 Under 40 in Richmond.
