Destiny Brown

Wilder Graduate Fellow

Destiny Brown(she/her) is a Wilder Fellow at SERL. She earned a bachelor's degree in Sociology from Longwood University and will graduate from the L. Douglas Wilder School of Government and Public Affairs with a Master's in Urban and Regional Planning in 2025. At SERL, Destiny has assisted with various projects, including the Rappahannock Area Health District Two-Way Communication Engagement Assessment, Behavioral Health Community Needs Assessment for the Richmond Behavioral Authority, and the 2023 Chesterfield County Parks and Recreation Survey Report of Results. Currently, she is engaged in a program evaluation for the City of Richmond's Community-Based Violence Intervention and Prevention. Her research interests focus on community development, housing, environmental justice, and sustainable cities.
