The Virginia Department of Emergency Management is working with the Center for Public Policy in the Wilder School of Government and Public Affairs at Virginia Commonwealth University to provide education for locally elected and appointed officials.  These FREE courses address the following critical topics 1) Fundamentals of Emergency Management 2) Navigating Disasters and 3) Recovery and Resilience.  All courses are taught by full time faculty in the Homeland Security/Emergency Preparedness department at VCU.  Each course is one day and they are offered at a variety of locations across Virginia.  Please select the registration link that works best for you.  Coffee and lunch will be provided.  Contact Nick Devlin at  devlinna@vcu.edu with any questions, or follow the links below to register:
